Nowadays it is more and more common for the youngest in the house to access a PC. From there parents worry about security and protecting them from accessing the Internet. For this reason Norton has launched this tool, called Norton Online Family, which offers protection for youngsters against any web access.

In difference to other applications, Norton Online Family doesn't need to install any programs in your PC. It just installs a small shortcut which lets you manage the different user accounts of the operating system, and then via the Internet you can access a control panel where you can configure the security options.

Norton Online Family is as simple as creating different user accounts, one for each member of the family who uses the PC. Once in the control panel you can specify the different permissions for each of those users. This way you can check or block specific websites, check which words they often use, who they chat with, limit time use, etc. As you can see, it is a very complete tool, free and which you can use to manage any Internet connection.
